Weight Loss Challenge

Inspired by our supporter Tony Flynn from Dunshaughlin, and his friends who got together earlier this year with a weight-loss fundraiser - we're asking you if you're up to the challenge?

Inspired by our supporter Tony Flynn from Dunshaughlin, and his friends who got together earlier this year with a weight-loss fundraiser - we're asking you if you're up to the challenge? Tony gathered a group of 20 people together and split them into two teams who competed against each other to see who could lose the most weight. They got sponsorship from their local gym and other businesses and held some fundraising events over the course of three months.

The result? They lost lots of weight and raised more than €20,000 for Make-A-Wish!

You don't have to do it on this scale to still make a difference. This is a personal challenge and effective fundraiser that can be done at any time that suits you. Just sign up with Make-A-Wish, set up a Mycharity.ie fundraising page and we'll send you out a pack to get you started. You can undertake the challenge for as little as a few weeks or for a few months - it's all up to you. Call us on 01 205 2012 or email martina@makeawish.ie for more information.
